The Broward County Drowning Prevention Taskforce consists of different stakeholders who are interested in and are responsible for the safety of children. Together, they provide strategies and coordinate drowning prevention efforts throughout Broward County to support Water SMART Broward.
The Taskforce meets on Microsoft Teams every third Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. and is comprised of:
- Child advocates
- Groups and organizations
- Academic institutions
- Social services
- First responders
- Health care providers
- Aquatic professionals
